Summary
Bottom drawer of a walnut, ivory-inlaid and ebonised prie-dieux, Northern Italian, probably Lombardy, 19th century, (NT28608.2). Ripple-moulded overall, inlaid with a panel of scrolling foliage and a bird. Has two metalwork handles with lady's face in middle of pull; hangs from two lions' heads.
