Summary
One of a pair of Minton maiolica (majolica) oblong stands with pink grounds and brown and yellow basketwork borders. Impressed 590 for model No. 590, ‘Garden Pot and Stand, Mignionette, Rectangular Shape’, of which only the stands survive, ca. 1870
Provenance
Transferred to the National Trust by the Treasury in lieu of CTT in 1985 with an endowment provided by the NHMF.
