Summary
An oval shaped two handled dish, one of four that are part of a 46 piece English dessert service, decorated with small panels of foliage on an orange and gold background. Possibly Coalport, circa mid 19th Century, with pieces marked on the underside in red with the number ‘9177’.
Provenance
Possibly manufactured by Coalport circa mid 19th Century. Transferred to the National Trust by the Treasury in lieu of CTT in 1985 with an endowment provided by the NHMF.
