Summary
One of a pair of Minton majolica jardinieres. Made in 1880. In blue, green and yellow; bulbous bodies resting on six paw feet; with strap work and six lion heads decorating the upper part of the bodies. Everted rim. Model No. 1023, ‘Vase, Lions Head Handles, Claw Feet’, imitating Chinese monochrome wares with European mounts.
