Full description
Poor quality flintlock blunderbuss, unsigned, England c1810. One of seven guns of contemporary date together with a wooden wall rack. Plain brass round barrel with a flared muzzle. Breech with Birmingham private proof marks (crossed sceptres and crown). Retained to the stock by 2 barrel pins. Ramrod missing. Barrel length 30.3cm Diameter at muzzle 28.5mm. Walnut full stock. Plain brass furniture comprising; butt-plate, trigger guard, sideplate and 1 ramrod pipe. Plain flintlock, the plate of flat form with a stepped tail. Retained to the stock by 2 sidenails. Overall length 70cm
