Summary

18th century white ceramic Chinese saucer for the Islamic market with gold, green and red decoration around the rim and in the well. Hand written paper label on the underside reads; Umdat-ul-alma / Succeeded his father / (Nawab Nallajah) / 1795 - 1801 / Cup (and) Saucer.

Provenance

Purchased from the estate of the late Lord Wraxall with the assistance of the NHMF and donations from members and supporters.
