Summary
Black Edwardian pram, wooden body with raised wood trim painted black throughout. Connected to sprung metal chassis by four brown leather buckled straps above the wheels. Similar strap holds base of body to chassis centre side, one strap missing. Body at handle end has enclosed drop flap to extend length and provide extension to waterproof oilcloth cover. Flap secured by metal strip into metal slot. Body of pram has a footwell accessed by removal of padded drop-in section. Two-thirds of base is covered in black spotted yellow lino like material. At head end are leather straps on either side, fixed to base and having rings at free end to secure absent harness. Royal blue colour evident in places inside pram. Hinged collapsible hood in black oilcloth material secured by metal arms and stay. Inside hood is trimmed with faded black and white key patterned strip. Pushing handle in metal and white plastic. Four metal spoked wheels edged in white rubber. Black metal label on body below hood reads, / 30 Wigmore Street / Millsoms Ltd /LONDON W1 /
