Summary
A collection of brass and silver decorations related to carriages, displayed in a glazed wooden frame which has been enhanced with a gilt fillet. The decorations are described as being: 1. A circular decoration showing a bent arm holding dagger 2. A rampant lion 3. Monogram of initials, 'RB'. 4. Formed by three separate pieces; being a. two wings b. a helmet c. a motto 'segun las obras', “According to the work”. 5. A circular decoration with a port cullis in the centre and a leaf-pattern border 6. Monogram of initials 'LK' 7. A shield with a horse crest on the torse 8. Two daggers in the form of a 'W' 9. Decoration, with leaf detail 10. Inter initials 'CF' 11. Monogram of initials, both letter ‘W’ 12. Monogram of initials, two back-to-back 'P' 13. Monogram of initials 'SY' 14. Ornamental display of acanthus leaves 15. A wheat sheaf 16. A shield and coronet, with two griffin supporters. Inscribed with the motto 'Rast ich, so rost ich’, ‘When I rest, I rust’. 17.
