Summary
Set of two giltwood pelmets and three pairs of red floral damask curtains. Gold fringe and red ornaments. Probably made by Ince & Mayhew to the designs of Sir William Chambers, 1776. The third pelmet was re-used as a headboard and is separately catalogued as NT 266392.

Probably supplied by Ince & Mayhew for the Grand Cabinet, Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire in 1776; Lord & Lady Iliffe, Basildon Park by whom gifted to the National Trust as part of the contents of Basildon Park, Berkshire, 1978. .
