Summary
Silver candlestick with alternating concave and convex 8-sided base, repeated in drip pan. Engraved cipher at base of stem, with the letters 'GMR'(?) surrounded by motto of Order of the Garter. Base with hallmark and etched 'No 5 25 10'. Drip pan marked: 'No 7'. Hallmarked for Ann Craig and John Neville, London, 1742. One of a set of six (see NT/BAS/S/2i-vi).
