Summary

A serpentine steel fender pierced vertically and with band of scrollwork within bands of beading. Mounted with gilt metal circular flower head paterae linked by husk festoons and ribbon bows.

Provenance

From Brockenhurst Park, Hampshire; Accepted by HM Government in lieu of inheritance of tax and allocated to the National Trust for display at Basildon Park, 2010.
