Print, engraving, View of Streatley and Goring (after Joseph Farington) by Joseph Constantine Stadler (b.Germany - fl. London 1780-1812). View of river valley with gentle hills and village on either side of river. Boats on river and islands of grass and trees. Pile of dead wood in foreground, bottom left. To right, cattle graze in field. Within black line and grey wash borders. Inscribed: 'Streatley and Goring.' Mounted and glazed in black and gold Hogarth frame. One of a set of 15 aquatints (see NT/COO/D/3a-o).
