On reverse side; silver basin / Ancient Peruvian or Chilean. / Taken from the ruins between / the town of Trajillo and its port Huauchace / of Chauchan or the / Great Chines as they are called by / the natives, whose traditions speak / of a powerful State which existed / in that locality long before its / conquest by the warriors of Cuzco, and / its annexation to the Empire of the Incas.
