Summary
One of fifteen white porcelain breakfast plates with four sprays of pink roses, green leaves and scalloped guilded rim. Marked on the base in red; 9504 / H. Manufacturer's mark in green reads; SPODE / COPELANDS CHINA / ENGLAND. Oval retailer's mark in brown with crown reads; SOANE (and) SMITH / 462 OXFORD STREET / LONDON W. (These plates match the plate catalogued NT12576.28 in the Butler's Inner Pantry). Plate is cracked and chipped and repaired with six staples.
