Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Hunting Scene, English, 19th century imitating 18th century. A scene of huntsmen including two women and hounds. A figure in a red (hunting pink) coat and golden breeches stands, dismounted, next to a grey horse on the right, looking to the left; the others are seated and on the left a dark rider, with his right arm aloft, is setting off between the trees.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust, along with the house, furniture and other contents collected by Sir Walter Jenner, 2nd Bt (1860 - 1948), in 1949.
