Summary

A joined oak 'credence' table or folding table, English, early 17th century with alterations. The associated hinged top above a deep moulded frieze and raised on turned baluster legs with a shaped apron and a shelf stretcher.

Provenance

Bequest of Lytes Cary Manor and other freehold lands, tenements, property and chattels from Sir Walter Kentish William Jenner, in his will dated 14th May 1948.
