Summary

One of five rectangular cardboard boxes used to store lead crystal pendants from the ring under the lamps for chandelier (NT26411) from Pytte, Clyst St. George. Lining the box and separating the layers of pendants are several sheets of newspaper dated 1956. The box has the following printed on one end, 29 6 57 / NACEPE / EXTRA SELECTED / NACEPE. Adhered to the top of the box a paper label with the following printed, WILTS UNITED DAIRIES LTD / CARRIAGE PAID HOME CHARD JUNCTION SOMT. / HAMMETT'S DAIRIES LTD., / EXHIBITION WAY, / EXETER, / DEVON. / DAIRY PRODUCT WITH CARE THIS SIDE UP.
