Summary
Bedroom wash basin in a rounded rectangular shape. Printed blue pattern on white background on sides of basin. Pattern within the oval shape and on longer outside sides and within circular shape on shorter outside sides, shows classical ruins in a landscape with larger decorated ruin to left side - all enclosed by flower / foliage decoration. Printed blue foliage design on rim with gilt edging and ridge effect. Gilding worn particularly on the raised parts of the ridging. Stamp on base in blue; PALMA. Also in blue; IB. In brown ink; a / 9402. Stamped in relief; Rd 809018. Inside of bowl four designs match those on the outside. Large cracks to two diagonal corners repaired in one case with four staples and the other with glue. Chip missing from rim.
