Summary
Metal reinforced wooden trunk. Hinged lid, two metal loop handles on each end. Lock mechanism on front, lid has plain metal flap which folds dowm to cover lock. The lower half of the interior is compartmentalised into slots and larger spaces. Whole lined with green felt. Small paper labels with print on upper surface of felt read; FLOWER STAND / ENTREE DISH / GRAVY. Outside label handwritten on side reads; Lady Wraxall / Tyntesfield / Bristol / Chapel Vault. Evidence of mould throughout. Printed label on front reads; WITH CARE / I / S. Lid of trunk has white stencil; I. Remains of wax seal on lid. Rear of lid has paper label reading; 3988.
