Ink illustration for page 38 of The Tale of Ginger and Pickles (or page 34 of the 2002 edition), "At length on his last little rush - Pickles found that the shop was empty". Ginger sits on boxes looking out of the shop door, while Pickles stands on all fours. There is a correction in white bodycolour to the dog's head. The book was published October 1909.
