Summary
Ink illustration for The Tale of Ginger and Pickles (published October 1909). This illustration, featuring the dolls Lucinda and Jane from The Tale of Two Bad Mice. The dolls are stood outside Ginger and Pickles' shop, looking through the window.This illustration may have been removed from the original story manuscript given by Beatrix to Louie Warne, Christmas 1908 (it is probably the drawing referred to by Beatrix as quoted by Leslie Linder in A History of the Writings, page 198).
