Line illustration for page 32 of The Tale of Pigling Bland (or page 30 of the 2002 edition), "the policeman sauntered up to the house about tea time, followed by a damp subdued little pig". Back view of Alexander following the policeman up the garden path at Hill Top, towards the house in the background. Corrections have been made in white bodycolour to parts of the drawing - the path, the house and the trees. The book was published October 1913.
