Summary
One of two illustrations, drawn on loose sheets of plain paper which were slipped into the exercise book HIL.R.16 at the end of the text. Both are preliminary drawings for the illustration of Aunt Pettitoes watching the piglets feed from a trough (HIL.RP.19). This is the more finished of the two illustrations, a pencil drawing which has been partially drawn over in pen-and-ink and enclosed within an ink border. See also HIL.RP.19, the illustration; HIL.R.16, the manuscript exercise book and HIL.R.16.1, the other preliminary drawing; HIL.17.1, HIL.17.2, other manuscripts of The Tale of Pigling Bland
