Summary
One of a pair of large dark brown frames with gilt decoration each containing three watercolour caricatures. Outside ones large rectangular, central smaller and square. Contains from left to right - man with drum on his back and smoking a pipe, gentleman with his arms crossed titled Dismal Jimmy, man holding a glass of wine entitled Old Weller. All three signed Kyd. On the reverse side in pencil is written Lord Wraxall and a white label with black printing - FROST and REED LTD. Either side of badge is - BRISTOL / CLARE STREET / LONDON / 41, NEW BOND St. SW1. In pencil 9599 and 16.5.52. Across label in a green stamp is FRAMED BY ALBERT STUDIOS.
