Summary
Oil painting on unlined canvas, The Hon.Victoria ('Via') Florence de Burgh Long, Lady Gibbs (1880-1920) by Albert Henry Collings (London 1858 -1947), signed and dated (lower right): Albert H. Collings 1908 and exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1909. A full-length portrait of the first wife of George Abraham Gibbs, 1st Baron Wraxall, in a yellow satin dress, standing by a fluted column with a view of Tyntesfield beyond.

Commissioned from the artist by George Abraham Gibbs in 1908; purchased by the National Trust from the estate of the late George Richard Lawley Gibbs, 2nd Baron Wraxall (1928 – 2001) with the assistance of the NHMF, Art Fund and donations from members and supporters in 2002
