Walnut settee, first quarter 18th Century. The rectangular padded seat is supported on shaped legs, those at the front cabriole on pad feet. Above the rear legs, linked to those at the front by side stretchers with stopped chamfers, the padded back rises to a flat top-rail, the wings leading into the slightly scrolled-outward arms. Covered in wool needlework.
