Summary
Fifty-three medium sized plates, thirty-six soup plates, one hundred large dinner plates and thirty-eight crescent shaped side plates forming part of a large Ridgway's dinner service in white earthenware. Each piece with polychrome decoration comprising central basket of fruit in deco style with three borders, outside geometric pattern brown/yellow, middle woven leaf, inner geometric pattern. Maker's backstamp incorporating a bow logo reads, THURLOW / RIDGWAYS / ENGLAND / ROYAL / SEMI PORCELAIN. Each piece impressed, 7/23.
