Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Elizabeth Fraser, Mrs George Arbuthnot (1790-1832), British (English) School, circa 1820-30. Half-length portrait of a young woman, turned slightly to the right, gazing at the spectator, her hands crossed in front, wearing maroon coloured dress, two strang pearl neckland and drop pearl earrings, an ermine stole is draped behind her shoulders and down her left arm and is held in her left hand, she also wears a large maroon hat with ostrich feathers. Stormy sky in background, lighter on the right
