Pastel on paper, Mary Ussher, Viscountess Molesworth (d.1763) by William Hoare of Bath, RA (Eye 1707 – Bath 1792). Half-length portrait of a young woman, turned slightly to the left, gazing at the spectator, wearing a white low-cut dress, pale blue stole and bow, and wide-brimmed hat to match with blue ribbon. Pale-blue background.

Purchased by National Trust in 1957 from William Lowry Lenox-Conyngham (1903–1957), shortly before his death, along with the other contents of Springhill
