Pastel on paper (oval), The Right Hon. Thomas Conolly PC, MP (1738-1803) by Hugh Douglas Hamilton (Dublin 1736 – Dublin 1808). An oval head-and-shoulders portrait of a man turned to the right, gazing at the spectator, wearing a red coat with gilt buttons, white waistcoat and white stock, dark natural hair.

Purchased by National Trust in 1957 from William Lowry Lenox-Conyngham (1903–1957), shortly before his death, along with the other contents of Springhill
