Full description
The section on the left-hand side shows the east end of the conservatory and the steps leading up to the level of Soane's bookroom. Above the glazed door is an elaborate shell head. The section to the right illustrates the west end and the interior of its terminal, glazed bow; the Hardwicke arms are shown against the wall beneath the westernmost roof truss.
