Summary
Caudle cup and saucer, soft-paste porcelain, scalloped rims, two handled cup, dot pattern in gold, unmarked, Caughley, Shropshire, 1790-5; decorated with ornate gilt border pattern of interlocking ovals to interior rims, simple dots of gilding to exterior of cup and upper surface of saucer, band with scallops to inner well.
Provenance
Part of the Bambridge Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1976 by Mrs Elsie Bambridge (1896-1976)
