Summary
Bust, hard paste porcelain, miniature scale, square base with socle above, the bust depicts a male figure with cravat and overcoat, wearing a black brimmed hat, turning to the proper left, Naples Royal Porcelain Factory, 1780-1800; decorated with enamels and coloured glazes in a naturalistic style, the face in flesh tones, the hat black and the overcoat green glaze.
Provenance
Part of the Bambridge Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1976 by Mrs Elsie Bambridge (1896-1976)
