Summary
Figure of Andromache, pearlware, standing on a square grassy base, she has her arms wrapped around an egg-shaped urn standing on a tall pillar, against which she is leaning her head, probably Staffordshire, ca 1790-1810; painted in overglaze enamels with pink flowers to her skirt, green and brown base, the pillar to her right painted to imitate marble.
Provenance
Part of the Bambridge Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1976 by Mrs Elsie Bambridge (1896-1976)
