Summary
Figure of Hygeia, pearlware, standing on a square grassy base with a water ewer in her right hand and a snake encircling her left arm, probably Staffordshire, ca 1790-1810; painted in overglaze enamels with pink skirt, green and brown base, red ewer and green sash, the plinth to her left painted to imitate marble.
Provenance
Part of the Bambridge Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1976 by Mrs Elsie Bambridge (1896-1976)
