A mahogany cellarette on stand, English, circa 1770. The hinged top with moulded edge enclosing six bottle divisions and raised on square section chamfered legs and castors.
Provenance
Lamb House was presented to the National Trust in 1950 by the widow of Henry James's nephew and heir, Henry James, Jr, "to be preserved as an enduring symbol of the ties that unite the British and American people."
