Summary
An 18th century mahogany stick barometer by B. Peyerelly of York. The simple oblong case inlaid with box wood, the glazed rectangular scale surmounted by pierced swan necked pediment and supported by pierced scrolling brackets. The oval mercury reservoir decorated with panel of boxwood inlay.
