Summary
A late 16th/early 17th century oak, walnut, fruitwood and ebony inlaid table cabinet drawer, South German/North Italian, circa 1600-50, situated at the bottom of the left side of the cabinet. Brown envelope containing broken pieces of decorative brass mounts. Inscription on envelope reads: Brass mounts - broken / from furniture similar / to Zanzibar chests. VW / April. 75.
