Summary
A small solid elliptical Ocellate Cowrie shell, with a convex base, and well defined teeth either side of the aperture. Faded yellowish brown, patterned with rounded white dots and two brownish spots at the margins linked by a line of pale brown spots. The Mantle line is bluish. The margins and the base are creamy, with brown spots. There is no indication of the shell's provenance, although the Ocellate Cowrie is found in the Indo-Pacific area.
