Summary
A piece of leather, or leather imitation, covered cardboard that has broken off a larger object. There is a metal plate with a catch suggesting it was part of a leather wallet or case. On one side the leather is black/dark brown and the other side is a light brown. The edges are fraying. This object was found in the top drawer of a mahogany table (CMS no. 997561.1).
