Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Harry Brodribb Irving (1870 - 1919) as a Boy, British (English) School, circa 1878/80. A three-quarter-length portrait of Sir Henry Irving's son in costume in one of his father's productions at the Lyceum theatre. He looks as if he is one of the Princes in the Tower in Shakepeare's Richard III. Framed in rectangular gesso gilt frame.
