Summary
A walnut veneer chest on stand, with two short and three long drawers beneath a cornice, each with astragal edges and long ones with double central divisions, all with herringbone inlay. The stand with three drawers and shaped edge, on six umbrella turned legs and ball feet with flat shaped stretchers. Brass handles and escutcheons. William and Mary style, late 1600s.

A walnut veneer chest on stand, with two short and three long drawers beneath a cornice, each with astragal edges and long ones with double central divisions, all with herringbone inlay. The stand with three drawers and shaped edge, on six umbrella turned legs and ball feet with flat shaped stretchers. Brass handles and escutcheons. very typical drawer configuration with shaped stretchers also very typical of the period. William and Mary style, late 1600s.
