Summary
Vase or brush pot for a scholar's desk, porcelain, cylindrical, very pale blue ground, painted scenes in famille verte enamels, one side with flowers and insects and the other with a lady reclining among a pile of vases. with tea making equipment, China, Jingdezhen, probably Kangxi period, circa 1700-1720. Set on integral gilt metal stand (object number 195736).
