Summary
Lid for small Chelsea melon-shaped tureen. Decorated with purple snail finial, painted in tones of green and yellow with brown markings. Unevenly moulded rim to correspond with base. Chelsea Porcelain Factory, 1752-1755.
Provenance
Gifted to the National Trust by Sir Felix and Lady Elizabeth Brunner, along with Greys Court House and Estate, 1969.
