Oil painting on canvas, Miss Dorothea Baird as 'Trilby', by James Sant (Croydon 1820 - 1916), circa 1896, signed in monogram bottom right. A three-quarter-length portrait of the English actress Dorothea Baird in the role of Trilby, from the stage play of the same name by Paul M. Potter.
