Summary
Black leather men's dress shoe , left of a pair, with pointed toe, a small heel and tabs for buckles (missing) on the front, worn with damage to the sole and insole. Sewn in label on the inside reads: PEAL&CO.487.OXFORD ST.LONDON. Markings on the sole read: PEAL. Element of a Royal Household uniform worn by George Abraham Gibbs as King George V's Treasurer of the Household 1921–1928.
