Summary
Two black shiny, possibly waxed cotton, sword bags with cream chamois leather interiors and buckle fastened flaps at the top. Elements of a Royal Household uniform worn by George Abraham Gibbs as King George V's Treasurer of the Household 1921–1928. Found stored in large, flat tin trunk NT17229.
