Summary
Large circular powder compact. Covered base of black grosgrain fabric. The top is covered in a fine tapestry picture of a lady and a gentleman sitting in a garden. The hinged lid has an internal mirror. The base is lined in white with loose face powder. The gold coloured surround rim has a scalloped decoration. Above the powder is a removable circular fine mesh pad, then a powder puff, which has a holding strip of white ribbon across it. It fastens with a clip fastening.
