Summary
A Worcester (Flight and Barr) table candlestick, one of a pair, on octagonally moulded base gilt with stylised foliage and with pink bands, the cylindrical stem painted en grisaille with classical figures on a yellow ground enriched with gilding (drip pan lacking), black script marks, circa 1800.
Provenance
Made in Worcester by Flight and Barr circa 1800. Loaned to The National Trust by The Croome Heritage Trust in December 2007.
