Summary
A slightly domed pierced cover for a late Meissen oval bowl, painted with shaped panels of flowers within gilt scroll borders surrounded by gilt latticework and with strawberry finial, slightly chipped, circa 1880.
Provenance
Manufactured in Germany at the Meissen Porcelain Factory circa 1880. Loaned to The National Trust by The Croome Heritage Trust in December 2007.
